Scholarship awarded to some 50 pupils and students by ASEED in collaboration with it Korean Partners CHA enterprise.
In line with ASEED’s objective to promote access to education, ASEED in partnership with CHA Enterprises South Korea also awarded scholarships to 50 meritorious pupils and students from different primary and secondary schools in Bum sub division on 16th January 2015.
This award was given to the best student in each class as a way of encouragement and promoting retention in school. These awards also helped to improved on the school completion for these pupils and students whose families were mostly peasant farmers or grazers that lack financially means to support or carter for the basic needs (education, shelter, feeding, health etc) of their family.
